The first release
Cute Split is an Android app for splitting trips and bills with friends. It needs Android 7.0 or newer. For now, you sign in with an Indian mobile number.

What you get
- Five ways to split: equally, by exact amounts, by percentages, by shares, or equally with a small adjustment. When several people paid one bill, you type what each one paid. See the full guide.
- Groups and friends for trips, flats, dinners, events and couples. Add a friend by name. Add their mobile number too, and they see what you share once they accept your invitation.
- The fewest payments. Each group shows who pays whom, with as few payments as possible.
- A group fund for trips. Collect money before or during the trip, pay bills from it and see what is left.
- Settle up with cash, UPI or a bank transfer. Open your own UPI app with your friend’s number ready to paste, and send a friendly reminder, once a day for each friend.
- Share a summary on WhatsApp as a message or a picture, in English, Hinglish or Hindi. Your friend does not need the app.
- Monthly bills such as rent, internet, phone recharge, the cook or EMI. Set the date once and the bill is added every month.
- Words for balances: six ways to say who owes whom, from Get and Give to Lena hai and Dena hai or Hindi letters. Only the words change, never the amounts.
- Find and keep: search, filters, your own categories, a spreadsheet (CSV) of everything, a light or dark theme, your own currency symbol and Undo.
- An Add expense widget and an app-icon shortcut, to add an expense in a few seconds without opening the app first.
Privacy
- No ads and no analytics. Cute Split asks for no advertising id and never uploads your contact list.
- You sign in with your mobile number. A code arrives on WhatsApp or by text message, and there is no password.
- Only you and the people you split with can see your data. Your personal expenses are not shared with anyone.
- You can delete your account and your data in the app, or on the delete account page.
