HTML Email to Figma
Help & Support

A picture is grey
The plugin could not load that picture, and the Images card gives the reason.
- If the picture is on your computer, convert from a folder or a ZIP, or press Add image files, so the plugin has the file.
- “The server refused the request (403)” or “the picture is no longer there (404)” means the web address in the email no longer works. Replace the picture in the email, or supply the file.
- “Only public https:// addresses are loaded” means the address is not a public web address, for example one on your own computer or network. Supply the file instead.
- To fill a grey picture, choose the file in the Images card with Pick file, then convert again.
- A picture can also be too large. One picture may be up to 25 MB.
A font looks different
The plugin matches the email’s fonts to fonts you have in Figma. When the email uses a web font that is not installed in Figma, a close font is used. Install the font in Figma and convert again to get the real one.
There is no Mobile frame
A Mobile frame is built from the email’s own mobile styles (@media (max-width) rules). If the email has none, only the Desktop frame is made, and the Output card tells you. Also check that Also create a Mobile frame is on. If the email’s mobile rules apply only at 480 px and below, choose 480 or a smaller width.
I have no free emails left
You get 10 every month. They come back on the 1st at 00:00 UTC, and the plan strip shows the date. Emails you did not use do not roll over. Pro, with no monthly limit, is coming soon. See pricing.
A free email was used, but nothing was made
When a run fails, the email is given back and the plugin says “No free email was used”. One exception: if you close the plugin while a conversion is running, nothing can give the email back. That is rare, and it costs one of your 10.
“The credits service cannot be reached”
Nothing is wrong with your email or your file. The plugin keeps working, counts your emails on your computer and sends the counts later.
The result is not exact
After a run, the plugin shows the largest difference between its layout and the measured email, in pixels. Small differences can come from fonts. Tricks that need JavaScript or a mouse hover are not applied. If it looks wrong, write to us with a made-up copy of the email.
Privacy
Your email’s HTML is read on your computer and never sent to us, so we cannot see your emails and cannot recover them. Read the full details in the privacy policy.
